About This Event

Participants will critically evaluate the concept of motivation within the emotional intelligence model, drawing connections to several fantasy-oriented animated series from the last decade. Through a nuanced analysis, participants will explore how motivation is depicted and represented in these series, considering its role in character development and narrative themes within the context of emotional intelligence theory. Participants will demonstrate advanced proficiency in identifying and implementing therapeutic strategies to explore different types of motivation with clients, utilizing examples from fantasy-oriented animated series and therapeutic techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Through case studies and role-play scenarios, participants will develop skills in integrating evidence-based interventions to help clients increase motivation and achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
